Congratulations to the Cathedral Assistant Oganist

Owen Spicer, Christ Church Cathedral Ottawa's Assistant Organist, has been awarded the annual Godfrey Hewitt Memorial Scholarship, a value of $6,000! Owen is a graduate of McGill University with a bachelor's in organ performance and a minor in music theory and choral conducting. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree at McGill in the studio of Isabelle Demers. We are blessed to have him on staff, not only for his musical and conducting talents, but also for his easygoing and positive attitude. Well done, Owen!
