Invitation to share the final session of the Doctrine of DiscoveryThe Diocesan All My Relations (AMR) working group invites you to this final session showing, via Zoom, of the film 'Doctrine of Discovery, Stolen Lands, Strong Hearts' with discussion following. This is a challenging truthful documentary that explains the history of the Doctrine of Discovery and its continuing impact on both Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. We’ll show a section of the film beginning at 7 pm followed by a facilitated discussion until about 8:30 pm. Different evenings have been chosen to make it as accessible as possible. Cheques can be sent by regular Canada Post or call the cathedral office and we would be pleased to help you with how to use credit cards or e-transfer. If you have not already signed up for pre-authorized giving, we can help you with that as well. The work of the Cathedral and the needs of our ministries continue and we look forward to hearing from you. |
