Thank You AllFor a wonderful Holy Week and very special Easter The Spirit is definitely at work and play in our Cathedral! Positive energy, hard work, and fervent prayers cannot alone account for the experience of such an amazing Holy Week and jubliant Easter Day. Enthusiastic palm waving to quiet midday services, Maundy Thursday intimacy to Good Friday solemnity, Easter Eve commitment to Easter joy - all of it was blessed and became a blessing to so many. Normally, each group lead would receive a thank you email which they would then pass on to those involved. Each of those groups and the whole community needs to be thanked - for your faithfulness and dedication, time and effort, financial and personal support, gifts and talents, and strong desire to share the good news of the risen Christ. When it all comes together and is visited by holy presence, as on Easter Day, there are no words to fully describe the experience, though overflowing gratitude and deep appreciation may be close - Alleluia! Special thanks does need to a few people. To James and Andew and all our choirs - from the beginning of Lent to Easter Day, you have all contributed greatly to the mood and tenor of our worship. There are so many moving parts, and you make it look easy and sound beautiful - quite a feat! To Wanita, Paul, and Laura - your good humour and willingness to do whatever it takes to make things happen are deeply appreciated. And to Bishop Shane, Canon Doug, Deacon Jarrett, Reverend Bob, and our Honoraries - you lead us with gifts of grace and compassion and insight. Thank you with all my heart, Dean Beth |

Dreams Become Reality20 years later Twenty years ago, Bishop Shane (then Dean) and David Morgan, along with others, had a vision to create community on our block and provide an ongoing stream of revenue for our Cathedral and Diocese. This past week, along with Dean Beth, they went on a tour of The Vista on Sparks. What awesome vision and even more awesome to see it come to fruition! Thanks to all who worked so hard to make it happen. For more infomation visit:
